6-hour Freeze-A-Thon fundraiser takes place Thursday

Richard Coffin

The Coldest Night of the Year is coming up in a couple of weeks.

But before that is the 6-hour Freeze-A-Thon with Country 90.5 CFCH’s Kevin Oschefski & 106.3 Jet FM’s Mike Monaghan.

They will be live on location outside of Gd2Go from 6 am to noon on Thursday raising funds in support of the Coldest Night at the end of the month.

Proceeds are going to The Gathering Place, in hopes of ending food insecurity.

The Coldest Night of the Year walk and fundraiser takes place Feb. 28 at OUTLoud North Bay.

There are 2.5 km and 5 km walks.
