BESNER, Mary Thelma
Peacefully passed away at her home on Tuesday February 10, 2026, at the age of 95 years, one month short of her 96th birthday.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Rene Besner, and the loving mother to Darlene Hotte (late Ronald) (Steven), and Ken Besner. She was the grandmother to Lisa, Francine, Stefanie, Tyler, and great-grandmother to Haleigh, Dryden, Merik, Adison, and Malie. Mary is predeceased by her siblings Clifford Lamothe (Desneiges), Edward Lamothe (Kay), as well as her parents Emile Lamothe, and Marcella (nee Houle) Lamothe.
The family will be receiving visitors at the Bonfield Community Centre on Thursday February 12, 2026, between the hours of 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernadettes (Bonfield) on Friday February 13, 2026, at 9:00 am. Burial will occur in the spring.
