BYERS, Shirley (nee Tunney)

Shirley passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the age of 79 surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

A devoted wife to Maurice Byers and a dearly loved mother to Steven (Lianne) the late Ronda and Dennis Byers. Shirley was the cherished grandmother to Carter (Emily) and Gabriella Byers and lovingly remembered by her siblings Jayne Tunney (and son Matthew) and Doug Tunney (Dolly). Dearest Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Paul Tunney (surviving Nora) and parents Norman and Marjorie (nee Gallagher) Tunney.

Shirley will be remembered for the love she shared so freely. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.
