Criminal Harassment; North Bay Man Charged
The accused slashed the tires, causing fear for the safety of the victim.
The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) has arrested a North Bay man for criminal harassment following an incident that occurred on February 8, 2026, at approximately 2:45 p.m. in the Main Street West area.
The accused was observed following a victim in her vehicle. After parking and exiting the vehicle, the accused slashed the tires, causing fear for the safety of the victim. As a result of the incident, NBPS launched an investigation into a criminal harassment.
The victim and the accused are known to each other.
The accused, Hassan Habidi, 24-year-old, male, of North Bay, has been charged with:
- Criminal Harassment
- Mischief under $5,000
“Criminal harassment, threats, or any form of intimidation will not be tolerated,” said A/Insp. Corrente. “Everyone deserves to feel safe in this community, and we hold public safety as our highest priority.”
The accused was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
