Nearly $500,000 for additional diagnostic services at NBRHC

Additional CT Scan hours at the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) are being funded by the province.

Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing $487,000 to support the additional diagnostic services.

He says this funding will allow the NBRHC to reduce wait times and ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care close to home.

“We welcome this investment from the province to allow us to improve access to this important diagnostic service,” says Paul Heinrich, NBRHC President & CEO. “As our communities grow and demands for hospital services increase, additional CT hours means we can reduce wait times and better serve the health care needs of our patients.”

Province-wide, one-time funding is supporting an additional 324,000 CT hours at 86 hospitals this fiscal year.
