North Bay Police Service Emergency Response Team Training January 28
The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) will be conducting a real-time emergency response training exercise in North Bay, Ontario, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in the vicinity of E.W. Norman Public School and Widdifield Secondary School. The training exercise will take place throughout the day, and will not result in any road closures.
Emergencies require well-coordinated and efficient responses, and event simulations are an effective way to practice essential skills and communication procedures. Members of the public should not be alarmed by an increased presence of emergency personnel and vehicles in the area, or if they see officers in tactical gear or police drones operating nearby.
The North Bay Police Service’s Emergency Response Team utilizes specialized skills, tactics, and equipment to protect public safety and respond to unpredictable situations. The ERT consists of highly trained members who regularly participate in exercises to ensure readiness for all types of high-risk incidents.
