Saya, Therese

 As you read this obituary you will realize that I wrote it myself. I passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 99.

I was predeceased by my husband William, my sons Michael, James, and Paul. I am survived by my son John of North Bay, Michael’s husband Kevin Saya-Moore of Kelowna, my daughter Mary (Milan Verescak) of Thunder Bay and my son Robert of Sudbury. I was a grandmother to Sean (Kaitlyn Dubeau), Andrew (Beth MacMillan), Jeremy Saya and Kalysta Saya (Matt Rainville). Also G.G. to Sophie, Penelope, and Emma Verescak.

 I was born in North Bay where I lived most of my life, moved to The Walford Residence in Thunder Bay in 2019 in order to be closer to my daughter. Thanks go out to Mary who was my lifeline to the outside world, to the staff at The Walford who brightened my days and to Dr. Wendy Graham of North Bay and to Dr. Karleen Gleeson of Thunder Bay for their excellent medical care.

 Cremation has taken place. The funeral will take place in North Bay in the Spring of 2026. Arrangements have been entrusted to McGuinty Funeral Home in North Bay.
