2025 Photography Contest

Congratulations to Steve Taylor, one of the winners of the North Bay Municipal Heritage Committee's Centennial Photo Contest.

The 2025 photography contest, Through the Lens of Time: Celebrating 100 Years of Design, highlighted the connection between architecture and the natural elements of air, water, and land.

Thanks to the continued sponsorship from the North Bay Society of Architects, winners received cash prizes.

Here is what Steve had to say about his winning photo, 'Sunrise on the North Bay Waterfront': "At sunrise on the North Bay waterfront, the boundary between architecture and nature dissolves. The pier and building stand as extensions of the land – weathered by time, softened by water, and framed by the breath of morning air."
