55 Charges and Warnings Issued

The North Bay OPP continues to remind snowmachine riders to obey speed limits, stay on the marked trails and drive sober.

This after members of the OPP Snow Vehicle, All Terrain Vehicle, Vessel Enforcement/Education (SAVE) team patrolled area lakes and trails on the weekend.

On Saturday, 30 charges and warnings were issued on Lake Nipissing while on Sunday 25 charges and warnings were doled out on Lake Nosbonsing, Trout Lake, Tilden Lake and OFSC Trail A/D.

Over 450 contacts were made with the public over the two days.
