63’s win Gold and four Troops Ranked by NHL Central Scouting

The West Ferris 63’s U19B ringette team won gold at a tournament in Waterloo this past weekend.
After going 3-0 in round robin play, West Ferris scored an overtime victory against a team from Paris in the final to win the hardware.
The team has another tournament at the end of February in Niagara Falls then hosts their season-end regional tournament in North Bay in late March.
In hockey, four North Bay Battalion players are listed by NHL Central Scouting in the mid-season rankings.

Forward Shamar Moses is 71st, Lirim Amidovski is 85th and affiliate defenceman Jonathan Kapageridis is 178th.
Goaltender Mike McIvor is 22nd on the North American Goaltenders list.
Moses and overage defenceman Jacob LeBlanc will be playing in the Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game Wednesday night in Brantford.
