You could say at least one area senior is countering the adage about ‘slowing down with age’ while police are warning stunt driving puts everyone at risk.

On Saturday, North East Region OPP posted on social media that officers clocked a vehicle going 151 km/h in a 90 km/h zone west of North Bay on Jan. 10.

They charged a 70-year-old Sturgeon Falls resident with stunt driving.

Police also say an unsealed THC container was spotted on the passenger seat which led to a charge of driving while having cannabis readily available.

With the stunt driving charge, the vehicle was automatically impounded for 14 days and the driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days.
