7th Annual Science Festival

7th Annual Science Festival

Officials say science, technology, and innovation came to life at the 7th annual North Bay Science Festival.

Organized by Science North and several local partners, last week’s festival featured a Northern Ontario Youth Climate Action Summit, Lego FIRST Robotics Workshop, the North Bay Science Carnival, and more.

“I’m pleased to welcome Science North back for the 7th annual North Bay Science Festival, events like this provide opportunities for our community to explore science in a fun, and hands-on way,” says Mayor Peter Chirico.

Ashley Larose, CEO, Science North says the North Bay festival is all about igniting curiosity and making science accessible and exciting for everyone.

“With every hands-on activity and live show, we’re creating moments of discovery that leave a lasting impact—moments that inspire future innovators, problem-solvers, and changemakers right here in Northern Ontario,” says Larose.  “We’re grateful to work with such incredible partners across North Bay, who help bring this Science Festival to life.”

Saturday’s carnival offered hands-on science activities, interactive exhibits, and live entertainment.
