$80 million worth of Projects

North Bay City Council gets set to go over the operating budget next week, the city’s capital budget is also up for discussion.
It includes $80 million worth of projects in 2025.
A staff report says major capital projects include:
- Community and Recreation Centre
- widening and adding traffic signals on Seymour Street
- work on Metcalfe Street
- the Pearce Street Extension to Tower Drive
- Asphalt Resurfacing
- Vehicle and Equipment Life Cycle, and
- Capital needs of service partners such as Cassellholme, North Bay Police Service and North Bay Jack Garland Airport.
Four special committee meetings are scheduled next week, Monday to Thursday, at 5:30 pm each day in the Mayor’s 5th floor boardroom.
Council approval is needed to move the budget and each project forward.
