8900 Show Up for North Bay Tradition
Nearly 8,900 people went through the haunted house at Fire Station One on Halloween night.
North Bay Fire and Emergency Service partnered with Community Living North Bay to host the annual event.
“The Halloween haunted house is an amazing initiative that has been going on for over 30 years and a great way that our firefighters are able to give back to the community that they cherish and serve,” says Deputy Fire Chief Greg Saunders. “Thank you to the North Bay Robotics team 1305 for the demonstration they put on for the kids and the support they provide every year. Special thanks to our own Kathy Faulkner and Megan Chenier for all of their efforts in making the night such a tremendous success.”
Saunders is also thanking high school student volunteers that helped out Thursday night, along with everyone in the community, both individual and corporate donors that offered both money and candy.
Area roads were shut down in the vicinity of the fire station to keep trick-or-treaters safe.
