A Message from the NBDHU on the Upcoming Solar Eclipse

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit reminds us to mark our calendars!

On Monday, April 8, 2024, our region will experience a partial solar eclipse, with a total solar eclipse visible in parts of southern and eastern Ontario. Daylight will be affected from approximately 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

It is not safe to look at the sun without proper and undamaged eye protection during the partial or total eclipse.
