Age-Progressed Image Released in Ongoing Investigation into Missing Person Glen Wesley

The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) is releasing an age-progression drawing of a historical missing person in the hope of generating new information from the public.

Glen Warren Neil Wesley, 28 years old at the time of his disappearance in 2010, was a patient at the Northeast Mental Health Hospital. On September 15, 2010, his 28th birthday, Glen was granted permission to leave the facility on a short-term pass at 1 p.m. At the time, hospital staff believed he may have gone to North Bay’s downtown core. After he failed to return later that day, hospital staff contacted the NBPS. Despite extensive investigation, all efforts to locate Glen have been unsuccessful.

Since his disappearance, there have been several unconfirmed sightings of him in the Cochrane, Timmins, and New Liskeard areas. The investigation remains active and unresolved.

At the time of his disappearance, Glen was described as:

  • 28 years old
  • 6’2” (188 cm)
  • 300 lbs (136 kg)
  • Heavy build
  • Indigenous (First Nations)
  • Brown eyes
  • Black hair, short, over ears
  • Scar on his left wrist

"The disappearance of Glen continues to deeply affect his family, our service, and the entire community,” said A/Deputy Chief Warner. “While an age-progression image is not an exact representation, it is a valuable investigative tool that helps us show what Glen may look like today. We hope this image will prompt someone to come forward, because even the smallest detail can make a critical difference in progressing this investigation."

The NBPS would like to thank the Ontario Provincial Police Forensic Identification Support Services for their assistance in creating the age-progression drawing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact NBPS at 705-497-5555 and press five (5) to speak with an officer or visit in person at 135 Princess Street West, North Bay. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Near North Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at nearnorthcrimestoppers.com.
