Air quality statement issued because of forest fire smoke

Environment Canada has issued a special air quality statement for our area.
Smoke from forest fires over the Prairies is causing or expected to cause poor air quality and reduced visibility through Wednesday.
The weather agency says as smoke levels increase, so do the health risks.
They say limit time outdoors and consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.
The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit says it has more tips on coping with the smoke on its website.
