It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francoise on Monday January 5th 2026 at the age of 90.
Surrounded by her loving family Fran was welcomed into the arms of her beloved Lord and Saviour.
Loving mother of Maurice (Loraine), Lucie Fortier (Denis), Roger (Deceased), Robert (Rhonda), Jeannette Lanthier (Len) and Gilles (Deceased). She will be lovingly remembered as memere to her 13 grandchildren, Claude, Monique, Mathew, Brandon, Dustin, Karli, Michelle, Jeanine, Danielle, Benjamin, Dominique, Gabrielle and Isaiah and her 22 great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Renald St. Aubin (Jeannette), Robert St. Aubin (Geraldine-predeceased) and her sister Pauline (Gaetan Aubin).
Predeceased by her husband Claude, parents Albert St.Aubin and Germaine Piquette and her siblings Pierrette Aubin (Marcel-surviving), Liliane Boisvenue (Leo-deceased), Annette Welch (Marcel-deceased), Lorraine Leblanc (Fernand-deceased), Florian St. Aubin (Pauline-surviving) and Jeannine Boisvenue (Roland deceased).
Fran was deeply dedicated to her Roman Catholic faith, was a long time member of the Catholic Woman’s League and the Order of Franciscan, a Eucharistic minister, bringing communion to the shut ins, an Active member and volunteer for the Right to Life, but will be fondly remembered as a greeter at the church sharing her warm hugs welcoming everyone into the Lords House . She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Friday January 16th from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Saturday January 17th at 10:30am. Followed by a luncheon in the church hall.
We would like to thank Dr. O'Grady and the doctors, nurses, personal support workers and all the staff at the North Bay General Hospital for the loving care for mom and the family, we were truly BLESSED.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Bay Right to Life or Holy Name of Jesus Bell Tower Restoration.
