Albert Smith

 Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday May 1st, 2025 at the age of 92 years. 

Albert was the beloved husband of Theresa Smith (pre-deceased) and the loving father to Kerry Gunton (Danny), and Kim McCabe (Ger, pre-deceased).  He was the cherished grandfather to Brody and Josh and great grandfather to Ryden and Kaia. Albert is also survived by his sister Adrienne Newton (Ron), Predeceased by his sister Joyce Gennoe (Bud, pre-deceased), and his brother Roy Rogerson (Milly, pre-deceased).

Albert was also a proud life-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 23. Our family would like to extend our thanks to all of the staff of C3 for their compassion and care during dad’s stay.  

As per Albert’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and an inurnment will occur at St. Mary’s cemetery at a later date.
