It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Alice Réjeanne "Jean" Ouellette on June 17, 2026, at Cassellholme, at the age of 78.
Born on July 19, 1947, in Bonfield, Ontario, Jean lived a life centered on love, family, and kindness. Known simply as "Jean" to most who knew and loved her, she will be remembered for her gentle spirit, caring nature, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ray Ouellette, with whom she shared many cherished years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Rheal Beaulieu, Denis Beaulieu, and Lorraine Edwards.
She leaves behind her loving sons, Kevin Ouellette and Trevor Ouellette, and her treasured granddaughters, Elle Ouellette and Grace Ouellette, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. She is also survived by her sister Mary Ann Beaulieu.
Known for her warmth, compassion, strength, and generosity, Jean touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome and cared for, and her kindness will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have shared in her life.
Jean will be deeply missed by her sons, granddaughters, extended family, and friends. While her passing leaves a profound sadness, her legacy of love, devotion, and family will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Cassellholme for the compassionate care and support provided to Jean. A special and heartfelt thank you is extended to Cheryl, PSW, whose kindness, dedication, and genuine compassion made a memorable difference in both Jean's life and the lives of her family during this difficult time. Her care, comfort, and support will never be forgotten.
