ALINE DÉGAGNÉ CHATELAIN
June 23, 1938 – June 30, 2026
It is with great sadness that the Chatelain family announces the passing of Aline at Pioneer Manor in Sudbury on Tuesday June 30th, 2026 at the age of 88 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Rolland Chatelain. Loving mother of Madelaine Chatelain Desrosiers (Gerard), Monique Beaulne, Pierre (Gera), et Guy (Michèle). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Christiane (Stephane), Michel (Andrea), Nicole (Pierre), Luc (Jenica), Matthieu, Josée, Sylvie (Jesse), Alisha (Matt), Jessika (Jo), Cody (Céline) and by her great-grandchildren Léah, Quinn, Kesler, Brycen, Keean, Audrey, Everly, Maxwell, Treven, Maeleigh, Apollo, Hudson, Maeva, Kamille, Barrett, Paeslie and Kellan.
Also survived by her siblings Jeannine (Fernand), Raymond (Laurette), Louis (Lucille) et Patrice Jr (Lorraine), as well as many nieces & nephews.
Aline was predeceased by her parents Patrice & Laurette Dégagné, brother Eugene (Beth), sister Éveline, brother-in-law Roger and great grand-child Haeven.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday July 13th at Paroisse St-Vincent-de-Paul at 11 am. A luncheon will follow in the church hall.

Épouse de feu Rolland Chatelain. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Madelaine Chatelain Desrosiers (Gerard), Monique Beaulne, Pierre (Gera), et Guy (Michèle) ainsi que ses petits-enfants, Christiane (Stephane), Michel (Andrea), Nicole (Pierre), Luc (Jenica), Matthieu, Josée, Sylvie (Jesse), Alisha (Matt), Jessika (Jo), Cody (Céline) et arrières-petits-enfants, Léah, Quinn, Kesler, Brycen, Keean, Audrey, Everly, Maxwell, Treven, Maeleigh, Apollo, Hudson, Maeva, Kamille, Barrett, Paeslie et Kellan
Lui survivent ses frères et sœurs Jeannine (Fernand), Raymond (Laurette), Louis (Lucille) et Patrice Jr (Lorraine), ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Prédécédée par ses parents, Patrice et Laurette Dégagné son frère Eugene (Beth), sa soeur Éveline et beau-frère Roger et son arrière-petit-enfant, Haeven.
Une messe funéraire sera célébrée le lundi 13 juillet à la paroisse St-Vincent-de-Paul à 11h00. Un diner suivra dans la salle paroissiale.
