Andrew Desormeau

October 29, 1966 – July 3, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Andrew John Ozie Desormeau. After a short and courageous battle, Andrew passed away peacefully in the early morning of July 3rd, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

 Andrew was predeceased by his father, Gerald Desormeau. He leaves behind his loving mother, Adela; his devoted wife, Nicole Gagnon; his cherished children, Alexandra Beaton (Josh), Dominique, and Nicolas; his beloved grandchildren, Benjamin and Claire Beaton; his only brother, Robert (Diana); niece and nephew, Kayla and Logan and his in-laws, Don and Yvonne Gagnon. Andrew will also be missed by his faithful furry friend, Millie. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

 Andrew dedicated many years of his life to working as a truck driver, a career he took great pride in and one that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. Outside of work, he found his greatest joy in camping, where he treasured time spent outdoors making lasting memories with his daughters and son.

 Andrew faced life's challenges with remarkable courage, determination, and strength.

 Family and friends are invited to gather at Hillside Funeral Services in North Bay on Friday, July 10th, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.  A Christian service will follow at Hillside to celebrate Andrew's life.
