Annette Dionne passes away at the age of 91
The Dionne Quints Heritage Board has announced Annette Dionne has passed away.
“It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Annette on Christmas Eve,” states a post on social media. “Much beloved, Annette had championed children’s rights. She believed it was important to maintain the Dionne Quints Museum and the history it provides for the future of all children.”
She was the last surviving Dionne Quintuplet, born in Corbeil on May 28, 1934.
Emilie passed away in 1954, Marie died in 1970, Yvonne passed away in 2001 and Cécile died this summer.
Annette Dionne was 91.
Officials say she was also the last surviving sibling of the 14 Dionne children.
