Annual Seasonal Changes Attributed to Drop in Job Postings

Annual Seasonal Changes Attributed to Drop in Job Postings

By Richard Coffin

Job postings were down in Nipissing in November.

The Labour Market Group reports 387 job postings were recorded that month.

“While this figure represents a significant decrease in month-over-month (-22.4%,- 112) comparisons, it is a slight decrease in year-over-year (-4.4%,-20) comparisons,” states the LMG November Jobs Report. “Therefore, the decrease in month-over-month numbers is not a huge concern and can be attributed to annual seasonal changes.”
