Another $420,000 in Casino Money

North Bay has received over $4.4 million in payments for hosting Cascades Casino since the gaming site opened in March 2022.
The latest quarterly payment (Oct. 1 to Dec. 31) from Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) amounts to nearly $420,000.
“OLG’s Municipality Contribution Agreement payments help pave the way for North Bay to build critical infrastructure and fund important programs that make a real difference for residents,” says Vic Fedeli, Nipissing MPP. “Cascades Casino North Bay supports numerous jobs and generates a great deal of economic activity that, in turn, improves the well-being of our local community.”
The province says payments to host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.
