Applications Open for Enhancing Access to Spaces for Everyone Grant
The Ontario government has opened applications for the 2026-27 Enhancing Access to Spaces for Everyone (EASE) Grant. The grant awards up to $60,000 for small capital projects that improve accessibility and support active, healthy lifestyles for people with disabilities and older adults. The deadline for eligible organizations to apply is May 7, 2026.

“The Enhancing Access to Spaces for Everyone Grant allows communities to remove physical barriers, modernize public spaces, and ensure that more Ontarians can participate fully in community life,” said MPP Vic Fedeli. “These improvements show real results in the daily lives of seniors and people of all abilities in local communities across the province.”
The EASE Grant provides funding to municipalities, not-for-profit organizations and Indigenous governing bodies to support small capital improvements, including retrofits that make community spaces safer, more accessible and more responsive to the needs of people with disabilities and older adults. Examples of potential projects include charging stations for mobility devices, mobility mats at beaches, accessible washrooms at parks, and more.
To support interested applicants for the EASE Grant, the Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility will be hosting four webinars during the application window to provide program information and guidance on completing and submitting the application form.
