Applications Open for the Heritage Organization Development Grant

Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing announced that applications are now being accepted for the 2026-27 Heritage Organization Development Grant (HODG). This grant offers up to over $1,500, supporting several heritage organizations across to province that educate and inform the public about their community’s history.

“The Heritage Organization Development Grant will help eligible organizations in our community to promote the heritage of our province, sharing the stories of our past, present, and future,” said MPP Vic Fedeli. “This funding will ensure that local organizations continue to deliver world-class exhibitions, programming, and activities for visitors of all ages and interests in Nipissing.”

The Ontario government is protecting Canadian culture and identity by investing over $230,000 to support the HODG. Last year, 165 heritage organizations were funded through the HODG. This grant provides historical societies, museums, and other heritage associations located throughout the province with a portion of their annual operating support.

Eligible organizations have until Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. EDT to submit their applications. To apply visit: Available funding opportunities from the Ontario Government | ontario.ca.
