Area emergency services raising funds for the Run for the Cure

Pink fingernails are returning for the leaders of some area emergency services.

The North Bay Police Service and a number of area emergency services are once again taking part in a fundraising challenge in support of the CIBC Run for the Cure.

As a part of the initiative, leadership with the services that do not raise the most funds will have their nails painted pink.

Last year over $5,100 was raised, with nearly $23,000 raised since 2021.

Officials are hoping to meet or exceed last year’s total.
