Area High School Graduation Rates

Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord (CSCFN) has the best 4-year and 5-year high school graduation rates of the region’s four school boards.

The province has released the high school graduation rates for all the Catholic and Public School Boards in Ontario for 2023.

The five-year grad rate at CSCFN is 94.8% while the four-year rate is 89.4%.

Both are above the provincial averages (5-year rate of 89.5% and 4-year rate of 84.3%).   “Thanks to our numerous diversified programs and innovative services, offered by our dedicated staff, students who enroll in a Franco-Nord school acquire essential skills and lifelong bilingualism, then graduate to pursue post-secondary studies and become true contributors in the workforce,” says Serge Levac, CSCFN Director of Education and Secretary-Treasurer.

The five-year rate at Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario was above the provincial average, while the 4-year rate was just below.

Both the Near North Board and Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic Board were below the provincial average.
