Attempt Murder and Robbery Suspects Arrested

A 37-year-old North Bay man and a 28-year-old female remain in custody

They will appear in bail court today, after a January 27th 2025 targeted assault and robbery in the West Ferris area of North Bay. The accused and co-accused now face numerous Criminal Charges in relation to the incident.

On Monday January 27th 2025, at approximately 5:21 am, North Bay Police Service received a call from the North Bay Ambulance Service in relation to a male who had reportedly been severely assaulted. Police and paramedics located and treated an adult male who was suffering from multiple head wounds and an arm injury. The male was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The North Bay Police Service Criminal Investigations Section took over the investigation, and with the assistance of the North Bay Police Service Forensic Identification Unit, and the OPP Digital Forensics Unit, the accused and co-accused were identified. As a result of this incident, on July 23rd 2025, a North Bay male and female have been arrested.

The accused in this matter is:

Travis LAROCQUE, age 37, of North Bay, who is charged with;

  • One count of Attempt Murder
  • One count of Robbery with Violence
  • One count of Aggravated Assault
  • One count of Assault with a Weapon
  • One count of Weapons Dangerous

The co-accused in this matter is:

Natasha Margaret Laura STANLEY, age 28, of North Bay, who is charged with:

  • One count of Attempt Murder
  • One count of Robbery with Violence

The accused and co-accused were taken into custody without incident, and held for a bail hearing on July 24th 2025.

“This lengthy investigation demonstrates a collaborative effort between the members of our Patrol Section who responded to the initial call for service, our Criminal Investigation Section who took over the investigation and painstakingly worked through the evidence, to our local policing partners,” said Acting Deputy Chief Jeff Warner. “On the 23rd July, their efforts cumulated in the arrest of the two accused, who are believed to have committed this horrific attack, along with the execution of multiple search warrants. These lengthy investigations further demonstrate our member’s dedication and continued commitment to the community they serve.”
