AUBUT, Cecile (nee Champagne)

Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday March 17, 2025, at the age of 89 years. Cecile was the beloved wife of Gilbert Aubut and the loving mother to Wayne Aubut, Alan Aubut (Cathy), Stephen Aubut, and Kevin Aubut (Melissa).

She was the cherished grandmother to Kyle, Michael, Sarah, and Terah Lee, and great grandmother to Jackson,William, Chesley, Vasylana, Nona and Dimond. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Gerard Chamagne (Alice), She is predeceased by her siblings Louis (late pat), Laurie Ethier (Rolande), Charlie Champagne (Kay), Aline Truchon (Gerry), Jim Champagne, and Helen Beaver (Bob).

Cecile loved the outdoors, at any time she could be found fishing, enjoying the outdoors, or watching her favourite baseball team the Toronto Blue Jays.

As per Cecile’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

If desired, dentations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the North Bay Humane Society would be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
