North Bay’s new Homecoming Festival lined up for Aug.-1-3

The city is getting ready for homecoming.
Stretching from downtown, the waterfront and Lee Park, the new North Bay Homecoming Festival, is coming up on the Civic Holiday weekend (Aug. 1–3).
The event is celebrating the city’s centennial.

Public art to celebrate the city’s centennial

A legacy mural series is coming to the back facade of the Capitol Centre.
The public art project will commemorate the city’s cultural heritage, natural landscape, and evolving identity.
Eight artists or designers are being sought to contribute an original work for the project.

Funfest kicking off summer in Callander

Funfest takes place on Saturday, June 28 at Centennial Park.
The theme this year is ‘Callander Rocks’, with officials saying there will be plenty of music, food, family fun, and community pride.
