Back to school results in seasonal transit adjustments

North Bay Transit is starting some seasonal adjustments on Tuesday.

Starting Sept. 3, officials say the 1c McKeown Corridor will run every 30 minutes, Monday through Friday from Algonquin at Shirreff starting at 7:10 am.

The last departure will be at 10:10 pm.  Also switching up is the 8 Eastview-Algonquin bus.

It will run Monday to Friday with departures from the Transit Terminal every 60 minutes from 7:20 am to 5:20 pm, then from 6:50 pm to 9:50 pm.

“The scheduling and frequency changes are in response to increasing ridership as students return to school,” states a release from the city.  “All other North Bay Transit routes and timetables will remain unchanged, including Dynamic Dispatching.”

Check out the city’s website for detailed information and current transit schedules.
