Barbara Price (Browning)
Barbara Price (Browning) passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2024, in North Bay at the age of 75.
Barb’s loss is deeply felt by her daughter, Lorraine Marier, her grandson, Brett Campbell, and her two beautiful great-grandchildren, Lucas and Quinn. Also feeling her loss are her extended family members and her circle of friends.
Throughout her life, Barb exemplified resilience, determination, and love. She took on life’s challenges and successes with tenacity. She became a reliable fixture in her community and was loved by her many colleagues and customers throughout her years in the working world. Barb was the epitome of kindness. She was a giving, caring and selfless soul. Her selfless nature was evident in her volunteer work at the Gathering Place and for the Santa Fund, where she dedicated herself to helping others in need.
Barb treasured moments spent with her family and friends, as well as her beloved cats Missy and Faith. Whether enjoying family gatherings or pursuing her hobbies, such as listening to music, dancing, attending craft shows, playing bingo, or losing herself in a good book, Barb’s zest for life was infectious.
Barb will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her "creative" fashion choices, but above all, for her compassionate soul.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Barb’s life will be held on Saturday,
June 22, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. at the Callander Community Centre (1984 Swale St., Callander).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Humane Society or to the Gathering Place in North Bay, in honor of Barb’s lifelong commitment to serving others.
