Battle of the Badges winners include Chat4Chad and North Bay Food Bank
The results are in from the Battle of the Badges hockey game on the weekend.
The fundraiser pitted members of the North Bay Police Association against the North Bay Professional Firefighters Association.
$4,500 was raised for Chat4Chad with $3,700 and 2,500 lbs of food donations collected for the North Bay Food Bank.
On the ice, the fire department won the hockey game 9-4.
Officials also say $45,000 was raised for Chat4Chad from sales of the firefighters calendar this year.
Chat4Chad aims to bring awareness, resources, and funding to those experiencing mental health challenges in North Bay.
