Bernadette married Ernest in July of 1970; immediately becoming mother of Ernie's three children. For many years, Bernadette worked as a housekeeper and nanny; leaving the workforce to care for her new family. As the kids grew older and more independent, Bernie returned to work at Joint Hospital Laundry, Happy Jack's, and returning to her joyful job as a child care provider. Child care was a passionate career for Bernadette, as she took on the role of caring for her grandchildren.

Bernadette was an avid knitter and crocheter; not only making pieces for her family, but also donating countless items to children in the community. Bernie enjoyed meeting friends for coffee, and cards as well as embracing her condo living, making new friends and gathering together.

Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd on Saturday June 1st, 2024 from 2 until 4 pm. A funeral service will follow at 4pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
