BELLAIRE, Ronald

BELLAIRE, Ronald

Unexpectedly passed away at his home on Thursday December 19, 2024, at the age of 64 years. Ronald was the loving father and sadly missed by Amy Bellaire (Dean), Megan Bellaire, Stephanie Bellaire and their mother Mary-Ann Sarrazin. He was the cherished grandfather to Devin. Ronald will be lovingly remembered by his mother Thérèse (nee Landry) Bellaire, and his siblings Dale Kelly (late Ron), Debbie Lamirante (late Victor), Randy Bellaire (Sue), Roger Bellaire (Yvette), Barry Bellaire(Josie) and Lisa Turriff-Bellaire(Ryan). Ronald’s furry companions, Teddy “The sheriff” and Millie will dearly miss their best friend, Ronald. Ronald leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him deeply. He is pre-deceased by his brother Larry Bellaire (Catherine), as well as his father Exior Bellaire.

Ron and those closest to him know him as Iron man, Ron had the ability to overcome all adversity, problem solve every situation, find the light in the darkest corners and repair anything he came in contact with. He was also an incredibly hard worker with a creative mind. He prided himself on instilling these wonderful traits into his three girls. Ron loved being outdoors, camping at his camp or others while enjoying a good campfire and music. His love for music was magnetic and he encouraged everyone around him to “sing it” with him. His sense of humour and laughter was contagious and he had the ability to light up every room he entered. Ron had the gift of connection, embracing everyone he crossed paths with, always willing to lend a hand, offer support or share his wonderful words of wisdom. He was incredibly proud of his accomplishments such as travelling the world to set up trade shows, attending lots of concerts and achieving his goal of getting tickets for The Price Is Right. Although he didn’t get to attend he stayed committed to watching it daily from the comfort of his home occasionally with a cigarette and a beer in hand. If you'd like to honour Ron, in the morning turn your radio on country or classic rock and enjoy a cup of black coffee 1 sugar or crack a tall boy and turn on the hockey game.
Our dad Ron loved to say “suit up” as a way to energize a statement or thought. So in true Ronnie fashion “SUIT UP.”

He will be immensely missed by all who knew him.
As per Ronald’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will occur at a later date. If desired, donations to the North Bay Humane Society would be gratefully acknowledged by his family. Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
