Beverley Charron
It is with profound sadness that the Charron family announces the passing of Beverley Ann Charron (née Saari) on Monday April 7, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Beverley was 77 years old.
Born to Weikko and Beatrice Saari (dec.) of Mattawa, beloved sister of Bob Saari(Kerry), Brenda O’Neill(John), Brent Saari(dec.), Bernard Saari(Heather), Bonnie Jackson(dec.), Bernice Blomme(Dan), Greg Saari(Paulette), Belinda Saari, and Mark Saari(Tanya). Devoted wife of Bernie Charron, loving mother to Kara Charron-Wood (Jeremy) and Marc Charron (Jilly Duchesne) all of North Bay. Grandmother to Cameron Wood, Cohen Wood, and Parker Duchesne.
Her passion for healing the body and spirit were evident with her lifelong nursing career at North Bay Civic and St Joseph’s hospitals and her years of dedication and volunteering with the Near North Palliative Care Network. Her continued presence with the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) was a testament to her faith in a higher power. Her family was always the most important aspect of her life. Her beautiful smile, strength, and resilience will continue to inspire us all. A heartfelt thank you to all the doctors and nursing staff of Emerge, D3 and C1 at the NBRHC for their outstanding care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd on Thursday April 10th, 2025 from 2pm until 4pm and from 7pm until 9pm. Funeral mass will be held at St Peter the Apostle Church on Friday April 11th, 2025 at 11am.
