BLANCHETTE-LEBLANC, Madeleine "Maddy"
Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Tuesday January 27, 2026, at the age of 67 years.
Maddy was the beloved wife of Kevin Leblanc and the loving mother to Shawn Walsh (Stacey), and Kevin Walsh (Raquel). She was the cherished grandmother to Cameron, Griffen, and Hailey. Maddy will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Jeanette Walsh (Pat), Phillip Blanchette (Lucille), Romeo Blanchette (Sue), Maurice Blanchette, Monique Vossen and Giselle Floyd (Doug). Maddy is predeceased by her sisters Jeanne Sawyer, and Beatrice Blanchette, and brother Roland Blanchette as well as her parents George Blanchette and Jeanine (nee Trahan) Blanchette.
Maddy will be remembered by her family as someone who loved to cook, and take care of her beautiful home, travel with her beloved husband Kevin on road trips and day trips, picnicking along the way, spending time with her grandkids, sons, siblings, extended family and friends, sharing laughter and joy with all that had the privilege of knowing her.
The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday February 5, 2026, between the hours of 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A Celebration of life will be held in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel on Friday February 6, 2026, at 11 am.
