Block Party a Go Saturday August 24th

The North Bay and Area REALTORS® Association is thrilled to announce the return of the Bay Block Party, happening next Saturday, August 24th, 2024, from noon until 10 p.m. in the heart of downtown North Bay. This beloved annual event consistently draws thousands of attendees and has become a cornerstone of our community.

“Our REALTORS® are deeply invested in this community, and the Bay Block Party is our way of giving back,” said Ashten Hughes, President of the North Bay and Area REALTORS® Association. “We’re excited to showcase the very best of what North Bay has to offer.”

This year’s festivities will be headlined by the highly anticipated return of Dwayne Gretzky, alongside a full day of musical performances from local talent and engaging activities for all ages.

“With the ongoing Main Street revitalization, this year’s event will span from Sherbrooke to Fraser, with the relocation of the main stage to the Wyld Street intersection,” explains Ryan Humble, Co-Chair of the Bay Block Party Committee.

From noon until 6 p.m. on Oak Street, in Lot 2, beside the North Bay Museum, the Downtown North Bay & Waterfront will once again present FoodFest, offering a wide selection of dishes from food trucks and local eateries. Attendees can also visit the **Artisans Way Market**.  From noon until 4 p.m. enjoy family-friendly activities at **KidZone** sponsored by the YMCA, and sample craft beers, wines, and spirits at the beer gardens. Additional attractions include a Silent Disco dance party, art installations, and other downtown events like Cheapskate’s Mayhem on Main and the North Bay Cruisers.

“The incredible support from local businesses and community groups makes it possible to keep this event free for everyone to attend,” added fellow Co-Chair Kate Ricci. “Along with a day full of entertainment and community spirit, we encourage attendees to bring donations for the North Bay Food Bank.”
