BOULARD, Gilles

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gilles Boulard, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on May 28, 2026, at the age of 63.

Gilles was the beloved husband of Rita Boulard (née Gingras), devoted father of Aimé Boulard and Adèle Pigeau, and cherished father-in-law of Mathieu Pigeau. He was also a proud grandfather of Isabelle and Julien.

 He was loved and will be deeply missed by his mother Monique Boulard (née Gravelle) and siblings, André Boulard (Brenda), Michelle Boissonneault (Réjean), and Lydia Boulard (Joe).

Gilles was predeceased by his brother, Armand Boulard, and by his father, Laurier Boulard.

 A hardworking and outdoorsman at heart, Gilles found great joy in fishing, hunting, farming, quadding, camping and spending time in the outdoors. He was happiest when surrounded by nature, family, and friends.

 Honoring Gilles' wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Life at Club Calumet in Sturgeon Falls on Saturday, June 6, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 Gilles wanted his celebration to be filled with smiles, stories, laughter, and good company. Come celebrate his life, share a drink, tell a story, and remember the good times. Stay for a bit or stay for a while—everyone is welcome.

 If desired, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada and would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
