Break and Enter Investigation Leads to Arrest, Stolen Property Recovered
The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) has arrested a North Bay man for break and enter at a restaurant located in the 900 block of McKeown Avenue.
The accused, Cameron Blueboy, 26-year-old, male, of, North Bay Ontario, has been charged with:
- Two Counts of Break, Enter Place – Commit Indictable Offence
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
On March 29, 2026, at approximately 5:30 a.m., NBPS responded to a break and enter at a restaurant in the 900 block of McKeown Avenue and began an investigation. At approximately 1:00 p.m. the same day, officers executed a search warrant at a nearby residence, where the accused was arrested and charged without incident, and the stolen property was recovered.
Upon arrest, officers executed an outstanding arrest warrant related to a separate break and enter that occurred on October 9, 2022, in the 200 block of Ski Club Road, where approximately $13,700 worth of property was stolen.
The investigation was led by the Patrol Section, with support from Forensic Identification Services and the Criminal Investigation Section.
“Our members acted quickly and conducted a thorough investigation that led to the identification and arrest of the accused,” said A/Insp. Hampel. “Their work resulted in an arrest in this case, and also allowed us to address an outstanding warrant, helping bring closure to the victims and hold the accused accountable.”
The accused was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
