Brooks, Annette (nee Belecque)
August 11, 1937- August 3, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Annette on Saturday August 3rd at Nipissing Manor surrounded by the love of her family.
Predeceased by her spouse Paul Brooks, their oldest son, Robert Laferriere (Brooks). Proud mother of Paul (Joanne), Allen (Helen) and Joyce (Gary). Loving grandmother of Lindsay, Bradley, Brianne, Cassandra, Brandon, Nicolas, and Alexander as well as a great-grandmother to 10 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Paulette McKenzie. Annette will surely be missed by her fur baby Teeca.
Annette had a joy of playing bingo, canasta and had no qualms to use her colorful language to say what was exactly on her mind.
A visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral Services on Sunday August 11th, 2024 from 1 until 3 pm on what would have been Annette’s 87th birthday. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing staff at NBRHC as well as Nipissing Manor for their care. In lieu of flowers donations to the CNIB Foundation or the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
