Bruce Edwards

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday May 18, 2025, at the age of 82 years.

Bruce was the beloved husband of the late Donna Edwards (nee Gow) and the cherished best friend of Lynne Harrison. He was the loving father to Judy Edwards (Doug) and Donna Marie Edwards (Colin). He cherished his grandchildren, Michelle and Sabrina (Matt); and great-grandchildren Nathan, Joel, Kylie and Jeremy.

Bruce will be missed by his extended family, Jason Harrison (Sorel), Stewart Harrison (Carrie), Nolan, Isaac, Danny, Jeremy (Mallory), Sylas, Wyatt and Dior. He will also be missed by his siblings Wayne Edwards (Donna) and family, Dixie-Lee Cowan and family as well as extended family. Bruce is predeceased by parents Leonard and Melvina (nee Laveque) Edwards.

As per Bruce’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial visitation will be held at the Powassan Wesleyan Church (204 Big Bend Ave.) on Monday May 26, 2025, between the hours of 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am with a reception to follow in the Church Hall. Burial will occur at the South River Cemetery after the 12:00pm reception.
