Have your say on the City of North Bay's operating and capital budget for 2024

Operating and capital budget deliberations will be getting underway starting Feb. 26.

The use of reserves was a common theme last year, where millions were used to reduce the levy.

This past week, DNSSAB used significant reserves to keep their levy to under 3% for 2024. The use of reserves and increased service costs still puts upward pressure on the City of North Bay's overall budget. In 2023, DNSSAB used much higher reserve amounts to reduce the budget pressures as well.
