Cali added to Team Canada preliminary roster for U18 Men’s World Championship
Hockey Canada has added North Bay Battalion forward Ryder Cali to its preliminary roster for the U18 Men’s World Championship.
The tournament starts Wednesday in Slovakia.
Cali just wrapped up his first full season with the Troops, recording 16 goals and 36 points in 47 games.

Last week, he was ranked 25th among North American skaters in the final rankings released by NHL Central Scouting.
Two other Battalion players are on the list.
Right winger Parker Vaughan is 83rd and a possible third-rounder while defenceman Alexander Karmanov is 214th.
The NHL draft takes place June 26-27 in Buffalo.
The Battalion were eliminated from the second round of the OHL playoffs last week, with a 5-3 loss to Brantford in game four of the best-of-seven series.
