Canada Place vandalized within Hours of Grand Opening
The North Bay Police Service is investigating an act of vandalism, which occurred at the North Bay Canada Place along the city’s waterfront.
The North Bay Police Service is aware of and investigating an act of vandalism that occurred at North Bay Canada Place. The North Bay Canada Place waterfront installation was officially opened on Canada Day, July 1, 2024. At some time between the official opening and July 4, 2024, a portion of the installation was graffitied. Given the content of the graffiti, police are investigating the vandalism as a possible hate or bias motivated incident.
