Canadore College hosting Spring Open House

Canadore College is excited to welcome the next generation of students who are ready to take their first step towards contributing to the protection and growth of Ontario's economy. On Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the College will host an open house at its three North Bay campuses: College Drive, Commerce Court, and Aviation Technology. Faculty from Canadore’s 80+ programs, along with representatives from various student service departments, are looking forward to meeting prospective students and their families.

“We’re proud to open our doors and give future students a real look at what it’s like to learn at Canadore,” said Josh Willard, Manager, Marketing, Recruitment and Storytelling. “Whether it’s hands-on training in our specialized labs, connecting with faculty across more than 80 programs, or exploring Indigenous learning spaces and student supports, this event is designed to help you feel informed, welcomed, and excited about what’s next. We can't wait to welcome you and answer all of your questions.”

“The Canadore experience is about people, their interactions, their development, and an approach to education that centres on the whole self,” said Shawn Chorney, Vice President Strategic Infrastructure, Indigenous and Learner Services. “This takes many forms including cutting edge labs, teaching and learning spaces, and cultural centres that reflect nearly $100 million dollars of capital and technological investment in the last 5 years alone. Add robust student achievement barrier removal programs and an approach to sustainability that is world recognized, and you quickly realize that Canadore is a first class, first rate postsecondary education institution. We are excited to open our doors to future Panthers and their families!”

Students who register are eligible to win one of two $2,500 tuition packages.
