CAPPADOCIA, Angela

It is with broken hearts and tremendous sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing of Angela Cappadocia, surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday September 6, 2025. God has called her home to be reunited with her precious daughter Rosemary. Angela was very much loved and will be forever cherished and greatly missed by her loving family. Angela was the beloved wife, of 65 years, of Raimondo “Raymond” Cappadocia, and the loving mother to the late Rosemary Cappadocia and loving mother and mother-in-law to Nancy and Michael Leszczak. She was the loving and cherished grandmother and Nonna to Mitchell Leszczak (Sarah), and Adam Leszczak.
She will be fondly remembered by her sister Palmira Pincivero (late Egidio) and her brother-in-law Elfio Cappadocia (late Santa). Angela was predeceased by her mother Filomena Falconi.
She was an adored aunt and will be missed by her nieces and nephews Dino Pincivero (Angela), James Pincivero (Kristin), Jerry Pincivero (Tanya), Mary Lou Cappadocia and Peter Cappadocia, as well as her great nieces and nephews.
Angela was born April 26, 1940 in Italy. After marrying Raymond there, they settled into life in North Bay, raising their daughters in their home that was filled with much love and happiness. She was truly a devoted wife and mother. They also reunited with many family members; siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Angela very much enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, and especially cooking and baking. She welcomed everyone into her home, with her kind and open heart. Her kitchen was open all the time to family and friends. She loved hosting family gatherings, always providing many delicious dishes to all, creating memories her family will forever treasure.
She enjoyed all time spent with her family and friends. Nothing brought her more pride and joy than being with family. Her family was her greatest gift and most important to her, especially being a very proud Nonna to her treasured grandsons, never missing any milestones and being present for every celebration and always happiest in their company.
Angela had an abundance of love and energy and a generous heart, always showing strength and grace. She was always thoughtful and compassionate. Her love and selflessness was evident in all she did.
Angela touched many lives and will be deeply missed by family, relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving visitors at Holy Name of Jesus Parish (North Bay) on Monday September 15, 2025, between the hours of 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
