CARON, Jean-Marc

 It is with great sadness that the family of Jean-Marc share his passing at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, March 8th, 2025. He was the beloved son of Angela née (Tardif) and the late Herby Caron, at the age of 64. Loving brother of Pauline Cunningham (Jim), Gilbert Caron (Monique), Monique Antoine (Garry), and predeceased by his brother Marcel (1978). He will be lovingly remembered by his niece Veronica Fielder (Justin) and their children Jaxon & Elizabeth. Jean-Marc will be remembered by his friend Pat McLaughlin, who the family give their gratitude for being by his side. He was also, predeceased by many aunts and uncles.

 Jean-Marc worked for many years driving in the bush for several companies. He later drove heavy equipment for the City of North Bay.

 His family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who provided excellent care for Jean-Marc at the North Bay Regional Health Centre—Rehab Centre. A special thank you to Dr. Gauthier and her assistant.

 Visiting will be held at the Martyn & Sloan ‘Mattawa Chapel’ on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, March 14th at 11:00 am. Interment will be this spring in the family plot at St. Anne’s Cemetery.  A Luncheon will follow the service at the Mattawa Legion.

 The family requests no Flowers and asks that Donations be made in Jean-Marc’s memory to the Mattawa Royal Canadian Legion.
